Updates on Development Progress


Today has been quite the day for game development, managed to do quite a bit (other than for school work :D).

Things added:

1) Main menu (I guess, its part of the game though)

2) Precedural generation, took a while to make as said previously but now I have more than 1 room

3) A way to get new followers, its just the same graphics but when touched it tells the player scene that it needs to add one more follower

4) Scoring system, counted by number of rooms you pass through

5) Game over screen, just shows your score and stuff nothing much

6) Pause screen, lets you restart the game also nothing much

7) Enemy types with resistances to each weapon, basically encourages players to swap between characters and also added this unintended effect of forcing players to think about how to add new followers to their chain since changing characters follows an order and all

8) Balanced the guns a little bit, made the pistol a bit stronger so it doesn't shoot cardboard bullets anymore. 

9) Added a tutorial screen. Not the best type of tutorial but my game isnt complex so eh. 

10) Added a crosshair

Things to add:

1) Currently in the process of adding a boss fight

2) Will add maybe 3 - 4 more rooms, depending on time left

3) Music and sound effect, probably really important

4) Screen Shake maybe maybe not sure

5) Producing the trailer (Haiz like 5 hours of work and if nobody plays this game I will cry man)
