Releasing Revolution Road
I have finally completed everything. Made some tweaks and added some stuff like music and sound effects. Overall, really proud with the end result.
Things added:
1) Music, which I think is quite good. Might not match with the game but has a nice beat to it.
2) Sound effects. Took a bit of time recording and also implementing. Had some issues with the dying sound effect since characters may queue_free before the whole thing is played so I had to make the parent node play it for those followers instead.
3) Most importantly, I finished the boss fight and it be looking sick as heck. Some of my friends (AKA play testers) have commented that it was a bit easy though so I made it slightly harder.
Tweaks:
1) I made it so the grenade would get stopped by more walls so players don't passively stand somewhere and lob grenades over and get kills for free. (I mean you can still do that, its just much harder now plus its less fun so why...)
2) Assasin's knives now do slightly lesser over time damage so they don't one-shot enemies and chunk the bosses health like he's butter.
3) Made AI of enemies more "alert" I guess. Basically, they react faster to your movements. Just slightly faster though.
4) Changed resistance values for some of the enemies to make them tougher.
